Shares added value this morning on the HCM City Stock Exchange with the VN-Index gaining 0.82 per cent to 393.13 points and gainers beating decliners by 113-67.
The trading value was only modest, however, at VND171 billion on a volume of 13.9 million shares.

Of the 30 leading shares tracked by the VN30, only HCM City Infrastructure Investment (CII), software developer FPT (FPT) and Sacombank (STB) retreated. Most blue chips closed in the green, especially property developer Tan Tao (ITA), which hit its ceiling price of VND4,300.
The VN30 edged up 0.87 per cent to 463.94 points.

Ha Noi's share prices also increased this morning. The HNX-Index put on 0.11 per cent, standing at 53.94 points.

Market value and volume fetched VND182.9 billion and 30.57 million shares, respectively.
The HNX30, composed of 30 top shares on the northern bourse, rose 0.44 per cent to 100.19 points.

Sai Gon-Ha Noi Bank (SHB) led the market in terms of trading volume, seeing 4.2 million shares change hands. Trading will resume at 1 pm
