VN-Index still encounter many obstacles ,

Vietnam Stock Market just went over the most dramatic week to date in 2009 when, the VN-Index slipped slope 4 of 5 sessions and only slight recovery in last session of the week. Forecast this week, VN-Index also met many obstacles.
Events caused stock investors concerned last week as the State Bank of Vietnam to adjust monetary policy. Accordingly, the basic interest rate was improved from 7% to 8% of the year, exchange rate is adjusted down to 3%.
According to analysts, the adjustment of monetary policy was quite strong impact to investors' psychology. From the time there is a monetary policy adjustment, VN-Index has two sessions "free falling" with the decline of 20 points per session.
Currently, many investors still do quite pessimistic concerns about the risk of selling the upgrading of securites companies. However, to experts said that investors reacted too impressive over evolutions of the market.
Experts from Bao Viet Securities commented that the decision to increase the basic interest rate was not affected much to the current money supply for the economy in general and the stock market in particular. On the other hand, this action of the State Bank mainly in order to stabilize the money market and liquidity problems of the banking system.
For the worries of the upgrading, here is the problem of the market in the present. However, if market signals back to stabilize the problem solution will not accept excessive drag.
In fact, evolutions of trading sessions last week showed that demand began to grab the bottom appear quite large and this volume continues to support market this week's sessions.
In addition, the foreign investors' net buying continued even in the time most pessimistic market also showed that external mass are proved quite confident in the potential of the stock market in Vietnam.

With the current market evolutions, experts said that is a good time for investors in long-term collection, but the point is quite risky for short-term investment. The reason is, whether the market has increased at last session this week, but the trend is not going to clear by most of the demand has been purchasing power from the group long-term investors, while the from "surfing" proved quite prudent.
