HRC: Estimated business results in the first six months of 2010

Hoa Binh Rubber Joint Stock Company disclosed business results the first six months of 2010as follows:
* Production of exploited rubber was 930 tons and purchase was 650 tons. The exploited production decreased by 350 tons compared to the same period last year because of dry weather and decrease in exploited area (Down by 505.7 hectares against the same period last year).
* Sales volume of rubber was 1,850 tons. The average selling price of the whole year was VND56.5 million/ton. The average selling price increased by VND29.1 million/ton compared to the same period last year.
* Total revenue was VND130 billion, accounting for 65% of year plan (In which: sales of rubber latex: VND104.5 billion, rubber wood: VND19.7 billion).
* Profit before tax was VND47 billion, gained 77.8% of year plan and up near by VND22 billion compared to the same period last year.
* Profit after tax was VND43 billion. EPS of the first six months of 2010 was estimated at VND2,500.
* The current inventory of rubber is 465 tons and waiting to be offered to orders in July 2010. The price of rubber keeps going up. The current FOB price of SVR CV60 at Hochiminh port is over US$3,360/ton, SVR3L is over US$3,200/ton.
