Mặc định Investor (trader) Vancouver, BC, Canada

      Hi,

I have been interested in entering the Vietnam Stock Market for some time now. I was curious as to which brokerage firm I should use, as a foreigner. In my opinion SSI seems like a reliable brokerage firm compared to the other brokerage firm that I've come across. Some questions I have are, what are some ways to transfer money in and out of the account for a foreigner and what is the tax law like? Please feel free to comment.

      thank you,

      John N.

      Hi,

If I was interested in buying a stock that reflected the real estate market in Vietnam, what stock would closely follow the real estate index?

      thanks

      1. Besides SSI, there are some brokerage firms in Vietnam such as VDSC, SBS, BSC, VCBS,... You can search in the Internet about these firms.

      2. About the way to transfer money into and out of Vietnam:
      - Step 1: Investors will open a Capital Contribution Account (CCA) at a bank. It takes at least 2 weeks to finish procedure.

      - Step 2: After having CCA, investors will deposit and then, transfer to your security account at a brokerage firm or the account of an fund management company (if you choose the form of mandating your capital to a fund management company)

      - Step 3: After finishing the business in VN securities market, the investor will transfer the money back to CCA to prove the ligality of money and do the tax payment. After that, the investor can transfer their money out of Vietnam.

      3. About the tax law for foreigner, I will inform you later
