Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Company (RAL) has decided to increase its cash dividend for 2013 by 5 per cent to 35 per cent thanks to positive business results. The company had already made a 30 per cent dividend payout on April 29. Last year, the company earned a total profit of VND116 billion (US$5.5 million), exceeding its annual target by 66 per cent.
However, business slowed down in the first quarter of this year, with net profit reaching just VND18.2 billion ($863,000), down 33.4 per cent from the same period last year.
