Shares continued to add value on the HCM City Stock Exchange this morning.
The VN-Index gained 0.83 per cent to 422.73 points as advancers outnumbered decliners by 122-68. Market value, however, dropped to VND491.5 billion (US$23.4 million) on a volume of over 39.9 million shares.

The VN30, tracking the city's 30 leading shares in terms of capitalisation and liquidity, also rose 0.63 per cent to reach 494.46 points thanks to the recovery of 19 blue chips.

The HNX-Index this morning managed to rally after tumbling yesterday, adding 0.33 per cent to reach 58.28 points.

Most of the listed stocks closed unchanged from yesterday's session, while 93 others increased and the remaining 74 codes decreased.

Nearly 47.7 million shares changed hands, resulting in a turnover of VND313.35 billion ($14.9 million).

The HNX30, representing the northern bourse's top shares, finished 0.98 per cent higher at 111.28 points.
