The Binh Duong Mineral and Construction Co (KSB) on Wednesday became the 229th listing on the HCM Stock Exchange.
The company’s main activities are mining, manufacturing construction materials, construction and industrial park development.
One of its projects is the 212ha Dat Cuoc Industrial Park in Binh Duong Province’s Tan Uyen District. KSB chairman Tran Dinh Hai said the IP had so far attracted 30 enterprises that have rented out 40 per cent of its area.
Capitalised at VND107 billion (US$5.8 million), the KSB targets net profits this year of VND57 billion, about 20 per cent more than 2009’s VND48 billion.
Dividend
Shareholders may get a 25 percent dividend this year, the same as in 2009. HoSE board yesterday also received the HCM City-based Cotec Construction Joint Stock Company (CTD), which has a charter capital of about VND185 billion ($10 million).
The CTD, also a real estate investor, posted a net profit of VND220 billion last year, more than double that of 2008.
This year, however, it has reduced its net profit target to VND200 billion and aims at VND225 billion in 2011.
The company will offer a 20 per cent dividend this year, the same as in 2009.
CTD closed its first trading day at VND114,000, while KSB did so at VND42,000 per share.
Their respective reference prices per share were VND 95,000 and VND35,000, respectively.
