SMC Investment - Trading Joint Stock Company (SMC) declares the expected profit, dividend plan and new issuance as follows:
1. The profit of SMC in 2009 is expected VND70 billion:
* According to the Company’s business operations, SMC gained VND58.9 billion in profit after tax in 10 months. Therefore, SMC expects profit of the whole year will be VND70 billion.
* Plan to pay dividend: SMC prepares to pay a 16% dividend in cash (Approved in the General Meeting), in which: SMC paid 8% in advance, and the remaining will be paid in early 2010.
2. Resolution of the Board of Directors on issuing new shares:
* SMC sent the resolution of the Board of Directors to HOSE on 01 December 2009. However, a detail plan of the stock issuance will be submitted to the General Meeting for approval.
