Stocks on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange dipped into red on Wednesday as investors offloaded their shares to book profits from previous surging days.


VN-Index, Vietnam’s main stock index, closed at 313.76, showing a fall of 8.6, or 2.67 percent.


Turnover reached a fresh all-time high of 50.8 million shares worth VND1.22 trillion ($68.6 million) as 129 stocks retreated, 36 advanced and 16 were unchanged.
