The domestic stock market continued to be plummeting
on both bourses on the last trading session of the week. VN-Index
closed the week below 320 points with all five sessions of decline
while HASTC-Index was near the 100 point mark.

Specifically, VN-Index suffered a sharp loss at the
first phase of the session, down 3.14% or 10.24 points. However
stronger purchases in the second and third phases helped narrow the
loss. In the end, it managed a smaller loss and ended down 2.08% or
6.78 points to close at 318.96.

Thus, the VN-Index lost a total of over 33 points this week. The 318.96 point mark has also been the lowest since February 2006.
