The VN-Index today failed to make a rebound as it
closed down 1.12% or 3.8 points at 336.89, even though it already
managed a slight gain of 0.65% in the first phase of today's trading
session.


Investor's caution resulted in the weak liquidity with
only 9.1 million units were changed hands via order matching method
worth VND 237 billion.


Some stocks saw gains in the early minutes of the
session but then suffered losses later. In the end, up to half of the
170 listed stocks on the southern bourse were losers. Fifty four were
gainers, 29 others stayed still and two had no trading at all.


The northern bourse saw the same scenario as the
HASTC-Index witnessed a gain in the beginning but suffered loss at the
end, closing down 0.43% or 0.48 points at 110.9. Total 6.4 million
units matched for VND 179 billion.
