There were a total of 254 listed companies on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) in 2009, up 55 percent from the previous year and worth a combined 40 trillion VND (2.2 billion USD), a year-on-year increase of 85 percent.
In 2009, HNX received listing registration documents from 104 companies and approved the listing of 69 companies, up 38 percent from the year’s target.
